St. Titus, Pastor   Ephesians 3:14-21
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.  Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. John 21:15-17  So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?”     He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”  He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”    He said to him, “Tend My sheep.” He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?”   Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.”  Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.

There is a love that is beyond all understanding and a love that is  all understanding. It is the love of God for us as demonstrated through Jesus Christ. it is this love that causes us pastors to feed the sheep even when we ourselves are hungry.  But Jesus’ response to Peter’s profession of love is simple: “Feed my sheep”.   love is not a mare feeling it is also a positive action. This is what Christ has called each of us to do through the church.  We pray today to be faithful to the Lord’s command.  Amen

Worship this Sunday is at 10:00 am. We will hear from Pastor Song about his work  of feeding the homeless and hungry  downtown and how we can be part of this important ministry of the church.
